This school places a tremendous emphasis on ensuring each student is achieving to their maximum potential. Process: The Special Needs Committee comprising Support Teacher Learning Difficulties, Guidance Officer, Principal, Head of Special Education Services, Speech Language Pathologist, Prep teacher and Behaviour Management Support teacher, operates fortnightly and considers information from a variety of sources - the Year 2 Net, the Year 3 & 5 & 7 Test, Report Cards, Teacher requests through the appraisement process and parent requests for assistance. From this information the Committee considers what support it is able to offer students having difficulties. A range of strategies are employed.
