Religious Education

This is taken by visiting Ministers
of Religion or their appointed teachers each Monday afternoon between
2:00 - 3:00 pm. Each child is expected to attend the
instruction as designated by the parent. If this is to be
changed or a child is to be exempted then the parent must
inform the school in writing.
School POLICY
Teachers are to ensure that:

Children leave their classrooms
promptly to be on time for their instructions. |

Children move quietly to the rooms. |
|
They don't leave their room until
the minister arrives. If he/she does not arrive,
the Teacher from that room is to supervise those
children who normally come to that room for
Religious Education. |

They arrive back at their rooms
before the Religious Education period ends to
help with the dispersal of the children. |
|
Children not attending Religious
Education are to be supervised in a designated
classroom. |
|
Each Teacher will receive a
timetable indicating to which rooms children of
the various religious denominations must go to
receive instruction. This should be displayed in
each room. |
