Sports & Physical Education

All children are allocated to a HOUSE on enrolment. The houses at this school are:

All children are expected to participate in Sport and Physical Education and will only be exempted in extenuating circumstances.

Swimming:

The swimming Season is from early October to April, Terms 1 and 4. All Children are expected to participate, unless a satisfactory reason by letter or telephone is forwarded.

Swimming Classes for all year levels are held at the Ayr Swimming Pool, under the supervision of a Physical Education Teacher.

Children need a suitable costume (it is preferable that girls wear a one-piece costume), a towel, a hat, sunburn cream and children are permitted to wear a clean T-Shirt over their costume.

SWIMMING COSTUMES ARE NOT TO BE WORN TO SCHOOL UNDER SCHOOL CLOTHES!

Admission to the pool is paid by the Department of Education and the School. Swimming permission notes are issued at the commencement of each season, or on enrolment. These notes contain full details needed.
