Values & Beliefs

We at Ayr State Primary School, believe in eight basic principles and the decisions we make are reflective of these VALUES and BELIEFS:

Children should be encouraged to show self control and be responsible for their actions.
Children must develop good thinking skills i.e. Find, receive, process, evaluate and communicate information effectively.
Children schould be encouraged to contribute positively to all school activities.
Each child should develop socially, emotionally, physically and academically.
Children should experience success leading to a high self esteem.
Children should develop a sense of participating in activities in a fair and friendly way........ School Motto - "PLAY THE GAME".
Children should see a purpose in what they are doing.
Children should be willing to take risks and to evaluate their actions in doing so.
